Michele Sturgell
Before joining Highlands Ranch Law Center P.C., Ms. Sturgell practiced law as a public defender in Maricopa County. In that capacity, she fought the injustices brought by a sheriff and county attorney who are now under federal investigation. Ms. Sturgell has tried over 35 felony cases ranging from drug possession to murder. Before leaving for Colorado, she was training the new lawyers for the public defender’s office.
She brings her reputation as a tireless advocate and skilled trial lawyer to the firm as the lead attorney in the criminal practice group. She will continue to fight for her clients and protect their rights against over-zealous prosecution.

Ms. Sturgell is a native of Denver and has returned to beautiful Colorado with her husband and daughter. She is an avid football fan and Denver Broncos season ticket holder. She spends most of her free time with her family enjoying the Colorado outdoors.
