Anne Whalen Gill

Anne Whalen Gill heads the Appellate Practice Group at Highlands Ranch Law Center. She is the author of the leading treatise on Colorado appeals, Colorado Appellate Law and Practice (Second Edition), in West's Colorado Practice Series.

Mrs. Gill acquired her extensive grasp of appellate practice during the years she was a staff attorney at the Colorado Court of Appeals. She has successfully handled appeals in a broad range of areas: land use, zoning, interpretation of deeds, easements, contracts and business disputes, family law, and probate.

Personal Information and Community Service:

Mrs. Gill has been active in her church, serving on the Board of Trustees, in addition to being a deacon and elder. She was the editor of Colorado Shooting, the magazine of the Colorado State Shooting Association for a number of years and remains active with that organization. She also volunteers with TAPS, an organization to support military families who have lost their military member, and the Association for Children with Sensory Processing Disorder.

She enjoys hiking, photography and classical music.
